Shireen Shah

NELSON Based with Source Connect: Shireen Shah has a beautiful warm English RP sound. With a multi-cultured background, Shireen speaks fluent French, has a working knowledge of Indian languages. Her Indian and Pakistani accents are particularly good. Shireen has played an assortment of characters in Animation films including 'Ramayana', Krishna's Childhood' and 'Little Red Tractor'. She has narrated numerous BBC Documentaries and many Audio books for Ladybird and Longmans; done post-synch. Work on 'GBH' and 'Gandhi', and has also presented several series for BBC World Service, read many short stories and also featured in Radio 4 dramas. Constantly on TV, Shireen played Umi in 'Shameless'; has appeared in 'Clocking Off', 'Casualty', 'Love Hurts', 'East Enders', 'May to December', 'Grange Hill', 'Coronation Street', 'The Bill', and 'Dinner Ladies'.
