Micheala Rooney

Incredibly versatile vocally, Micheala is naturally the warm neighbourly voice that welcomes you with a soft lifting mid to lower toned sound. She is best known as a comedy character voice actor. Soft and fluffy to slightly eccentric, nervous, and brittle in a flash. A veteran of NZ and Australian Radio Plays. The late 90's also spawned two radio comedy series seeing her writing and preforming in 'News In Brief' and 'Caffeine Comedy Hour'. In her acting career she has seen many roles both comedic and dramatic for TV and Film such as Secret Agent Men II, Serial Killers,The Strip, Cleopatra 2525, The Bach and A Fish Tale. Micheala is also a script-writer for television. Her writing credits include Shortland Street, Mercy Peak and The Strip as well as two British series Crossroads and Family Affairs.
